Three Layer Cornbread

 

Ingredients:

 

F/C           N/C

16 c          6 c   cornmeal

8 c           3 c   w.w. flour

8 c           3 c   white flour                        dry

4 c           1 ½ c wheat germ

¾ c           4 T   baking powder

5 T           6 t    salt

 

32            12     eggs

5 c           1 ½ c honey                                  wet

4 c           1 ½ c oil

3 gal         18 c  milk (or buttermilk)

 

 

Directions:

·        Combine dry ingredients

·        Separately combine wet ingredients

·        Mix together-it will be runny

·        Pour into greased shallow hotel pans (7-8 pans full course—3 between course)

·        Bake at 325 f. for 25-45 min. till top is springy o the touch
